I started playing with props for my animal figurines a while back which gave them extra character and allowed me to create backstories for them while giving people a smile and a laugh. Posing these characters in mini room set ups with extra props and designs around them was a development of this. I pictured this little penguin so happy in her little world of art that she's oblivious to the mess little baby is creating on the floor and blind to the general chaos of the studio around her.
