It's now definitely Xmas Shopping time! Folksy is packed full of fabulous gift ideas and of course SPOONS are at the top of my suggestions list - they are long-lasting, planet-friendly, practical, postable and can be personalised to make the perfect gift for anybody, whether it's a budget buy for the office secret santa, a stocking filler for your partner, a joke present for your best mate or a classy offering for those well-off rellies who have everything (tip: I bet they don't have one of my spoons).

Full description
Vintage silverplate coffeespoon hand stamped with the Latin insult PODEX PERFECTUS ("Complete A-sehole"). Only I should have cleaned my glasses before I started because I accidentally stamped a double E instead of FE and of course although you can stamp an E on top of an F to correct it, the reverse doesn't really work. So I gave up, stamped a GREAT BIG F and consigned this to the bargain bin because it's still rude even though it's now very far from Perfectus!
The spoon itself is quite fun. It's one of those 'apostle' spoons that your granny probably has in her cutlery drawer - approx. 11cm long with a little robed figure on the end of the handle. Only when these were new they were never allowed to be as rude as this!
Ideal if you've drawn the office a-hole in your Secret Santa this year... or for putting on the saucer when a relative you loathe drops in unexpectedly over the holidays... or as a stocking filler... anyway I hope it makes you smile!
I can do other wording to order (yes, even Latin if you want) so if you have a request for a custom spoon, let me know and I'll see what I can do.
You will receive the spoon shown in the photos - please note it's vintage, in fact likely antique, so it's got a few dings and a bit of tarnish. Although let's face it, you don't need a museum-quality spoon to convey this particular message...
