Full description
This stunning poppy picture has been created using a wet felting method. Woollen fibres have been laid out to create the background with red silk fibres added to the foreground to create the poppies. After the felting process, which binds all the fibres together, hand embroidery has been used to create additional detail of the poppy stems and stamen. The felting process creates a wonderful texture to the surface of the picture.
The picture has then been mounted in a white 8" x 8" card mount with a picture area of 4" x 4" ready for framing.
