G'Day and welcome to my shop of jewellery delights! Due to the new EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) rules coming into force from 13 December, I will no longer be shipping to any EU country, which also includes Northern Ireland after this date. Although I ensure all the components I use in my jewellery are safe for consumers, I don't think my business can afford the EU agent that is required.
LAST POSTING DATES: UK - 14 DEC; REST OF WORLD - 1 DEC. Please note, I'm happy to post items after these dates, but delivery speeds can be reduced due to large volume of Christmas post, so Royal Mail cannot guarantee delivery before Christmas.

I learnt Japanese (the language and its culture) at high school and have been fascinated by the people and the country ever since! I'm always on the lookout for Japanese inspired fabric and this one, with my favourite gingko and maple leaves on it, with metallic gold finishes was just the thing!

The Gingko – a symbol of longevity in Japan (the trees can live for a thousand years) and combines with maple leaves and Cherry blossom in this fabulous fabric and wood statement necklace.
Created from high quality 100% cotton fabric, is a Japanese inspired range, featuring iconic designs – gingko leaves, cherry blossom and maple leaves, with delicate metallic gold finishes.
For this necklace, I’ve selected a section of fabric with white cherry blossom flowers and buds at the centre, the stem is metallic gold. Surrounding the blossom are gingko and maple leaves in various orange, yellow and red hues, as well as green bamboo leaves around the edges. They are on a pale turquoise background.
A special fabric coating medium was added to secure and seal this Japanese inspired necklace to a semi-circular FSC approved plywood shape.
I've left the back of the necklace showing the natural colour and grain of the wood, simply adding a layer of varnish.
Wooden necklace measures 8cm wide by 4cm deep
Teamed with antique bronze plated oval trace chain & matching 12mm lobster clasp
Length 22 inches, is adjustable – can be changed to your preferred length if required
Chain is nickel, cadmium and lead free
