I first made these when my son was much younger, to encourage him to be braver about joining in. They worked and soon became a favourite soother/fidget. They are really hardy and have survived trips in the washing machine!
Next I made some for the school I work in to support children struggling with anxiety. I ended up making one for every child in the school to have in their personal stationary pack when school reopened after the national COVID-19 lockdown.
Now it's time to share them far and wide!
Each stone is hand shaped and smoothed. This means each is completely individual in its pattern, size, shape and imperfections. We spend extra time ensuring they are a super smooth tactile experience but if you want an even smoother experience, try adding a tiny amount of hand cream!
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
Support Stones are a fantastic tool for discreet fidgeting or a little extra bravery in your pocket. They are smooth 'stones' with a depression in the middle to rub with your thumb. Expell some nervous energy, calm yourself with the repetitive movement and smooth sensory input or use it as a reminder of the person who gave it to you.
These tokens make a perfect gift for yourself or someone else who may be having a tricky time right now or needs to get through something nerve-wracking like an exam, appointment or interview.
They also make great attachment tools for children experiencing separation anxiety - they can keep a token from their caregiver in their pocket or pencil case throughout the day and give it a little rub whenever they miss them. A lovely back to school gift. They are also a good school fidget as it is small and silent!
Each stone is supplied in a small organza bag with an explanatory card.

Postage is second class standard to keep the cost to you low. You can upgrade to first in options.
