I have been wearing these for many years because I am lazy and don't like to take out my studs at night, or when putting on a motorbike helmet. I've one in my cartilage, one in my nose and two in my left lobe. I do take them out about once every week to give them and my piercings a clean and airing, but they manage to stay in throughout a hairwash, shower, wearing and removal of helmets.
These aren't hallmarked, as they are below the threshold of 7.78g that's the legal requirement for silver Assay here in the UK.
More of my jewellery can be found on my personal website: https://www.dawngilldesigns.com/
**I've been using Eco silver since 2016, but now all the silver elements are certified recycled by my bullion dealer - it's made from the waste and offcuts returned and reclaimed in the jewellery process, which means it's environmental impact is significantly lower than if mined afresh.

Full description
Micro studs, made with an even tinier ball on the end so that you can wear them though your piercing without having to bother with a butterfly back
I have used 0.7mm thick fine (ie pure) silver for these. That means that I can give a perfectly smooth ball at each end, and that they are very slow to tarnish (it’s the copper in sterling that tarnishs)
The use of fine silver also means that they are naturally hypoallergenic and soft enough for you to add a slight curve to the shaft once you’ve inserted it. They are also slightly slimmer than regular earrings, which tend to be made using 0.8mm wire. That’s to ensure that I make the back ball small enough for you to push it through your piercing with enough resistance to keep it from popping out, but able to fit through comfortably.
Priced individually and in sets. If you have a preference as to sizing if buying a set then say in your comment box
What you see in my hand are the exact studs I have ready, each stud is about 12mm long, with the larger ball being between 1.5 and 1.8mm in diameter, with the reverse ball being about 1mm in diameter.
In my ear are my own studs, ranging from 1.5mm in diameter to 2.5mm, and with a range of my StarTrek studs (available from my website)
I create these by holding the end of the wire in my blowtorch (aka SmeltyMelty) and melting the larger ball, then I trim it and melt the other end which is why there are slight variances in the sizes.
