In order to continue to do my part in helping keep the 'R rate' low I will continue to visit the Post Office only once a week, unless I have to send something essential to mum or take something to the PO for my elderly neighbour

I love sparkly things and always found it hard to locate jewellery to my taste and budget, so started making my own!

I love sparkly things and have always found it hard to locate jewellery to my taste and budget, so started making my own!

I particularly like individual or bespoke; everything you will see in my shop is an individually made item (please check my facebook page for previous and ongoing commissions) - if you see something you like, but that isn't quite right for you, please message me and we'll adapt it; different or multiple birthstones; the perfect length bracelet or earring; nothing will be too much trouble!

This also means that if you want to mix and match earrings, or buy one stud only (for example) that's fine: just let me know so I can adjust the price accordingly.

Of course, once an item is sold, although I can make another to the same dimensions, and using the same stones; as the stones are hand cut by an artisan, and the silver crafted by me, no two items will be identical. You will be able to tell from the item details if what you are looking at it the exact item I'll send you, one I made previously, or is made to order.

I have a selection of my jewellery here, on Etsy, and more of it (including lots of more unusual, or one off pieces) on my new website DawnGillDesigns.com

All the items are individually crafted, by me, by hand; the only mechanical element is if I put the silver in my tumble polisher, or if I do a spot of drilling.
Returns - if you are returning an item that has postage included within it, for a reason other than it being faulty, there may be a restocking fee of £5 representative of an element of the postage and packing costs

If you are ordering from overseas - well hullo!! - I've priced up for you.

Don't forget that you are responsible for any customs prohibitions; much as I would like to avoid the borders by utilising a beaming facility; I just don't have my own transporter pad.

My lovely Australian chums-to-be; precious metal jewellery is a AusPost prohibited item (boo). If I post anything to you directly there is no insurance, so it would be at your own risk*. I'd much rather post it to a friend or family member outside Australia.

*For info - nothing I've sent to a paying customer in Aus has gone missing yet - but a piece I sent my chum in WA in 2015 did.

Buying from me

Individually crafted jewellery, using recycled sterling or fine silver and semi precious gemstones. Inspired by my friends and the local (Devon) countryside - made to your specification and to order.

Returns Policy

You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.

Here's where you'll find the nitty-gritty about shopping with me. You can choose to buy direct through Folksy, Etsy or on my website.

I'm GDPR compliant - the only people your data will be shared with is the delivery company (Royal Mail) to dispatch your order and the payment company (to complete your transaction)

If you sign up to my email list (which you can do via my website), I'll use it rarely, to update you regarding any events or giveaways I may be running.

If you place an order, I aim to have it in the post within the week*, unless it's made to order, in which case the current lead in times are listed within the item description - usually within a week to 10 days.
Delivery - I use Royal Mail, and charge the cost of the post for an item; Currently I have 3 bands of postage pricing; for items below £20 in value,; for items between £20 and £50 and for items between £50 and £250. Everything fits in a large letter box, so it will fit securely through your letter box.
Returns - standard UK distance selling rules apply, which is for a return and refund (excluding delivery) of items that are unsuitable within 14 days, or of course if they arrive damaged. Exclusions from this standard legislation are for bespoke pieces and for items of a 'personal nature' which means items for a piercing.
*During the current C-19 semi lockdown, I'm aiming to visit the Post Office once a week
