Full description
This is my magical secret fairy door with sunflowers, blue butterflies and a cute hedgehog.
Handmade with white stoneware clay using the slab method. Each feature has been individually moulded and attached using slip. After the initial bisque firing the fairy door has been gently sanded before applying two coats of underglaze to enhance the features. The window, doorknob, sunflowers, butterflies, and horseshoe have all been clear glazed to add a shiny effect. It has been stoneware fired in the kiln to 1260C
A metal ring has been attached to the back of the fairy door ready to hang.

All my ceramic creations have been individually handcrafted by me with love and care. No two pieces are the same as each one has its own unique characteristics.
