Full description

This is my peaceful ceramic buddha with gold earring and bhindi wall-art sculpture.

It is made with stoneware grogged sculpture clay using the slab work and coiling methods. The features have been attached with slip and defined with sculpting tools.

It has been bisque fired and gently sanded before applying a red iron-oxide wash with a brush and then carefully sponged off to give definition. It has been stoneware fired to 1280C so is also suitable to be hung in the garden.

A gold acid-free non-toxic waterproof ink pigment has been applied the bhindi. A gold beaded hoop has been placed in the right earlobe.

A wall fixing has been attached on the back, together with cork to protect wall surfaces.

Size: 24cmH x 16cmW x 7cmD

All my ceramic creations have been individually handcrafted by me with love and care. No two pieces are the same as each one has its own unique characteristics.
