Wood turned dibber for sowing seeds and bulbs in pots or borders
Ideal as a gift for someone who enjoys gardening and growing plants from seed.
I wood turn these using a traditional foot operated pole lathe
Mostly I use native greenwood timber as this is easier to carve with traditional hand tools because of the sap still being present inside the wood
After slowly seasoning over many weeks I then apply a linseed oil finish to show the beauty of the natural grain.
Approx. 20.5cm (8") long - lines at 2.5cm (1") apart to gauge planting depth
