Did you know, that deep in the heart of West Wales, beyond the road that has no end, beyond the lane that turns into a muddy track that leads far away, there is a valley. A mysterious valley, that some say only exists in your dreams; but it's above Tregaron and slightly north, if you hit Ponterwyd you've gone too far..
There, if you go at dusk and are ever so quiet, you may see the elusive Ewe-nicorn. A creature so rare you would say it's just a sheep with an ice-cream cone on its head, but no! It is the mythical creature of long ago, from when dragons scorched the Welsh earth, the time of King Arthur and women folk in lakes brandishing edged weapons, an ancient time. But, yet the Ewe-nicorn lives on, lives on, in our minds and hearts.
Just a precautionary note, the Ewe-nicorn's diet is carnivorous and they do prey on wondering children that stray away from their parents or that cause a scene in restaurants.
