Inspiration
I keep ex battery hens that I have re-homed with my flock here at Bramble Cottage. I'm always sketching them. They are such characterful girls and very friendly. This one is called Groucho. She often has a grumpy look but she isn't really. I took a photo of her on a drizzly day. She was free ranging and her feathers were a bit ruffled and wet. This is the drawing I made from the photo .
