Full description
A3 (29.7cm x 42 cm) 2-colour linocut / screen-print entitled 'Filey'.
I'm a big fan of the North Yorkshire coast (as you can see by my other landscapes), and I've finally got around to making a print of one of my favourite places, the town of Filey (which is between Scarborough and Bridlington).
The view is looking from the shallows up to the sea front, and the houses, hotels, trees, kiosk and the prom.
Dark blue/grey and light teal System 3 inks on off-white 300gsm Seawhite acid-free paper. From an edition of 64, signed, titled and numbered. I created the image initially as a linocut print, and then transferred the image to a silk-screen to hand-print the edition.
The print image measures H25xW18cm.
The paper measures H42xW29.7cm.
Printed by myself in Sheffield, UK. Each one is slightly different, as is the nature with screen-prints.
All prints will be posted securely in a card tube and sent by first-class post (UK) or Airmail (rest of the world).
