Full description
This candle holder has been created using a beautiful streaky midnight blue sheet of glass cut to 15cm square and fused to a clear sheet of glass to create one solid square. The glass was slowly fused together at 800 degrees Celsius over a 24 hour period. It was then placed over a stainless steel vase mould, placed back into the kiln and slowly heated to 670 degrees Celsius, before a controlled cooling back to room temperature. It is perfect as a candle holder, large enough to take the larger tea light candles.
The final piece measures approximately 13.5cm diagonally, and 9cm high.
