It was a love of jewellery making that got me into making glass. Spending many lunch breaks in the bead shops near my work, I found myself drawn to beautiful dichroic pendants. The glimmer and shimmer of the glass transfixed me and I became intrigued by them. After some research I learnt that with the aid of a kiln, some sheets of glass and a cutter, I could make my own. I purchased a kiln and initially made small pendants before growing my knowledge and experience to make larger more challenging pieces,
As these pieces sold, I often offered cards to accompany the order. As the glass is unique, I had a desire to offer unique cards alongside the glass and design ideas fought to get out of my head and on to a design board. Very quickly what was a bit of creative fun took over and I had many designs I wanted to send for my own cards. And thus, Missy Mac Cards was born to accompany Missy Mac Glass.

Communication was great and item was posted very quickly despite it being a busy time of year. The snowflake looks beautiful - delicate and glittering - and was carefully packaged. It will make a great gift for my friend but it will be hard to part with!
