Welcome to Janiemade and my little corner of Folksy where you can buy my crocheted creations. If you're looking for skilfully handmade gifts and home decor I hope you'll find something you love. I enjoy crocheting with natural fibres, mainly cotton, and many of my home decor items use recycled braided cotton cord or recycled cotton T shirt yarn. All items are ready to post and I only charge postage on your first item. Your order will be sent by Royal Mail 2nd class post.

I've always loved spending time at the seaside and like to surround myself with things that bring back happy memories. I designed this bunting after looking for patterns, but not finding any that included all the details I wanted. I also experimented a lot with how to best attach the huts to the cord so that they could be repositioned without sliding all together in the middle - I finally cracked it!

Full description
A set of 5 pretty beach huts, crocheted from cotton in shades of red, white and blue. The beach huts are threaded onto a 115cm length of pale blue braided cord which includes hanging loops at each end. The huts can be moved along the cord to be displayed as you wish but they will not slide out of place. The beach huts are all different, but of similar design, each measuring approx. 9cm across and 14 cm tall. Special details include a tiny white plastic button sewn onto each door, three huts display a crocheted red and white lifebelt above their doors, and two of the beach huts even have their own colourful bunting strung across their fronts. This beach hut bunting would make a lovely feature in any seaside themed room, in a child's bedroom, or in a real beach hut if you're lucky enough to have one! Price includes 2nd class postage and packing.
