All of the jewellery pieces in this Folksy shop are handmade by myself in a lovely, shed studio in my back garden.
The handmade jewellery I make is inspired by nature, the coastline of my home Island of Mersea, meaningful words and the joy of simplicity.
Handmade in recycled sterling silver, recycled gold, sterling silver, copper, 14ct gold filled, and occasionally brass. Semi-precious stones, precious stones and beads are also featured in my work.

I live on Mersea Island, I can't help be inspired by the sea. I'm surrounded by it. Even on my days away I still find my choice of location is often coastal!
Its coastal pattern design and wide band lends itself to be a great gift for all genders.

Full description
Recycled sterling silver sheet has been patterned with a scene that looks like a pebble beach, this has been created by stamping two different sizes of the letter 'O' and full stops to form the pebble beach. The sea has been created by hammering the curved edge of the hammer to form the rippled wavy sea.
The silver sheet is then formed around a ring mandrel and the ends soldered together to form the ring band shape. The rings 'by the sea' pattern has been oxidised black and then polished so the raised silver is shinny silver.
The ring height is 1.2cm
The ring is marked .925 to signify that it is solid sterling silver.
As this ring is handmade to your required ring size, it can take between 3 - 14 days before being dispatched.
Comes packaged in a ring box, finished with ribbon.
