November 2025 refresh in full swing, keep an eye out for new lines ahead of Christmas.
On the surface of it, this is just a domestic scene from a different place and a different time. But look closely, there in the doorway of the house in the background. He stands there, a nervousness in his stance, watching hopelessly as the two ladies in his life talk and plot. Do they know? Are they sealing his fate? Or have they reached an accord, of sorts...
I use the magical Otherworld of Annwn as the backdrop in many of my pieces. The place has stuck with me since first reading about it in the Mabinigion. I spend a lot of time there in my imagination because it's a place where anything can and will happen. It turns the most mundane of events, let's say a cuppa and a chat, into something else, something extraordinary.

Full description
- “In Annwn, Everything Is Fine - An Accord, Of Sorts”
- Printed on 210gsm matt art paper.
- Hand-signed giclée print.
- Available in two sizes framed or unframed.
In this artwork I transform an everyday domestic scene into a rich narrative filled with tension and unspoken dynamics. Set in the mythical realm of Annwn from Welsh mythology, my artwork delves into the psychological interactions among the figures. A male character nervously observes two women, hinting at hidden negotiations or possible manipulation. This piece illustrates how the magical Otherworld can transform ordinary moments into profound psychological landscapes.
