Born in Cardiff in the early 1970s, I spent my formative years surrounded by arcade machines, comics, TV and cinema; passions that mix happily with my love of tales of folklore, mythology and strange customs. I’m inspired by figurative art, magical surrealism, theatrical lighting, mysterious narratives, and old wives' tales. I incorporate pieces from my collection of antique and vintage vernacular photographs into the work, using traditional and digital techniques in its construction. The print is taken from a pencil drawing made in 2022.

Introducing "Sprout" (2023), a hand-signed giclée print on handmade Khadi paper. The work is inspired by Celtic mythology and Welsh folklore. These prints, made and processed by the artist, are available in two sizes: small (148mm x 105mm) and large (210mm x 148mm).
Additionally, framed options are offered for ease of display in black freestanding frames with grey backing paper. The small frame fits A6 paper (18cm x 13cm) and the large frame fits A5 paper (30cm x 20cm).
Please note, each sheet of Khadi paper is unique with its own blemishes and characteristics due to its handmade nature, contributing to the charm of the print. This means the edges will be frayed and uneven.
Giclee printed with Canon Lucia inks on 150gsm cotton rag, acid-free, handmade Khadi paper. They are made, packaged, and shipped by the artist. Items despatched within 3-4 days, but delivery times may vary according to location.
Customers are responsible for any import duties and taxes.
