I'm always looking for ways to make my items more sustainable. Reusing discarded cushions as a base for my needle felt art work fulfils this aim. I also love the idea of art being not only decorative but can also has a purpose.

Last years stock now in my clearance sale.
Needle felt wolf portrait on a reclaimed green cushion cover. A unique piece of art work to display on your sofa or bed.
The cushion cover measures 50 x 50 cm.
The wolf has been needle felted by hand using sheep wool fibres and a sharp needle. The finished cushion has been gently hand washed to help the fibres bind with the cushion fabric. The finished portrait is backed using iron on interfacing.
The pre-used cushion cover was given to me by my daughter. Purchased from Matalan and only used for a short time in her dining room.
Spot clean or specialist dry clean.
The cover i can be gently hand washed with a wool detergent, so long as it is not left to soak in the water.
It is not suitable for spin drying.
