Absolem, the blue caterpillar from Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland story is sat atop his mushroom chilling out with his hookah pipe! He famously asked Alice “Who are you?” when he first met her after she had shrunk.
This is a large detailed, one of a kind sculpture, a perfect centre piece for any Alice in Wonderland fan. Absolem is mounted on to the mushroom with a cocktail stick which I haven’t glued in so he can be twisted around to a position of your choice or even lifted off and displayed separately from the mushroom.
Standing approximately 32cm tall and 20cm wide this sculpture has been needle felted entirely from wool over a wire armature, Absolem has glass eyes and a wire monacle, the hookah pipe was created from silk clay and beads. All mounted on a log slice.

Care instructions
Nikki Woollatt Felts needle felted sculptures and pictures are intended for display/ornamental purposes and should be kept away from small children and pets as despite being firmly felted rough handling (or chewing!) is likely to cause damage to the item and may create a choking hazard.
