Welcome to our Folksy shop! We are retired, keen hobbyists who have spent years making and creating.
We make a variety of hand made gifts, decorations and ornaments for home and garden.
As much as possible, we like to use recycled packing to do our bit for the environment.

Full description
This toadstool inspired mini fused glass suncatcher can be made to order for a special person or occasion. Have your chosen name, wording or short caption hand painted and fired into the glass to make it a truly unique gift.
Being mini size, the suncatcher is ideal for popping in with a card or letter and the recipient can hang it at a window, in a garden room or conservatory and allow the light to enrich the pretty colours and dance across the ripples in the glass.
The suncatcher is hand made in our Toadstool Meadow design which depicts a single toadstool living in harmony with smaller flowers in vibrant rainbow tones of blue, turquoise, lilac, very pale pink, yellow, orange and red. We finish it off with green glass for grass and a single bee zooming above the blooms. Both the title and the sprigs of cow parsley in the background are hand painted and also fired into the glass.
Once made, your suncatcher will be dispatched ready threaded with gingham ribbon in either a matching or complimentary colour and wrapped in bubble wrap and tissue paper.
The suncatcher measures approximately 5.5cm wide x 6cm long and can accommodate up to approximately 10 letters. If your chosen wording is a letter or two longer, we should still be able to fit it in. If your chosen wording is a lot longer, please just drop us a line as we may well be able to fit it in by juggling the design around a little or putting the lettering over two lines instead of just one.
