I enjoy crocheting with natural fibres, mainly cotton, and many of my home decor items use recycled braided cotton cord or recycled cotton T shirt yarn. All items are ready to post and I only charge postage on your first item. Your order will be sent by Royal Mail 2nd class post.

I love making useful items for the home and I've wanted to try using crochet as the basis for a clock for a long time. After much trial and error I've finally done it!
This seaside themed one has inspired me to think of using shells to decorate other items, so look out for a Seaside Collection soon.

Full description
This quirky clock has a crocheted clock face made from cotton yarn in shades of blue, cream and green. Playful little white fish swim round the edge between real spiral shells, in place of numerals. I loved making this little clock which would be ideal for any seaside themed room and perfect decoration for a beach hut!
The clock face is fitted into an 8 inch / 20cm round wood effect embroidery hoop and backed with felt that is attached to the back of the clock and edged with a chain stitch ribbon.
Internally, the clock mechanism is fastened to a circle of foam board that provides a sturdy backing for the clock face too. The clock hands are made of blue plastic and the second hand moves continuously with no sound.
The clock will stand on a shelf or can be hung on the wall. It requires one AA battery (not supplied). The mechanism is non-ticking, so the clock makes no sound when working, and can be used in a bedroom or other quiet place and will not disturb you.
