Welcome to Janiemade and my little corner of Folksy where you can buy my crocheted creations. If you're looking for skilfully handmade gifts and home decor I hope you'll find something you love. I enjoy crocheting with natural fibres, mainly cotton, and many of my home decor items use recycled braided cotton cord or recycled cotton T shirt yarn. All items are ready to post and I only charge postage on your first item. Your order will be sent by Royal Mail 2nd class post.

I fell in love with this shell as soon as I spotted the pattern on Pinterest and I'm enjoying making the same shell in different types of cord, each one is different! It's a really interesting shape to crochet and I can't wait to make more of them. Something beautiful and useful :)

Full description
A beautifully tactile large crocheted shell, made with a premium recycled 100% cotton braided cord. The shell is flexible yet keeps its shape and the cord gives great definition to the crochet stitches used to create it. Made in the new shade of cord, 'Iris,' it is a lovely soft pale blue-violet colour (hard to capture in a photo).
These spiral shells are such versatile pieces of home decor. The shell can be displayed on its side or is ideal to hang on a wall using the integral loop. Makes a great holder for a potted plant or useful storage for other bits & bobs in the bedroom or bathroom. Or, just display on a windowsill or shelf as an interesting object in itself!
Measurements: Approximately 36cm long, including hanging loop, and 17cm across at its widest point.
Care instructions: I recommend a gentle surface clean with a damp cloth to remove dust but item may be carefully washed by hand at 30C. Reshape whilst damp and leave to dry; Do not bleach; Do not iron; Do not tumble dry.
