Full description
Handwoven in very fine natural unbleached Lithuanian linen. Gently undulating circles in a delicate pale blue in a block twill, the wrap captures the diffraction of pool tiles when viewed through the water. The palette is inspired by the lido and the joy of outdoor swimming on hot summer days.
The perfect weight of wrap to accompany a light summer outfit and is ideal for a special occasion Linen and cotton is non itchy and naturally regulates temperature. Very light, with a good drape, linen relaxes with body temperature and gets even softer with wear. It is improved by washing and a hot steam press brings out the natural sheen of the fibres.
Measures approximately 35cm x 200cm
Woven entirely by hand on a custom-built 8 shaft Swedish floor loom from surplus high-quality yarn otherwise destined for landfill.
