Full description

A handwoven natural, unbleached cottolin scarf with inlays of white linen and blue silk in a tiny overshot pattern. Created in response to coastal erosion at Robin Hood’s Bay, materials returning to the earth, and sea pottery washed to the tideline. The scarf features an intricate overshot pattern that echoes transfer-printed pottery. Traditionally finished with a steam press to create a supple and very light drape.

Approx 28cm x 185cm

Designed by Nell Swift in Peak District
