This shot was taken when I was visiting Foggintor Quarry on Dartmoor and looks across to a group of Tors on the southwest edge of the moor. The light was amazing and I included the derelict gateway to draw the viewer’s eye through to the distant hills. It could only be a black & white image as the detail in the clouds was brilliant.

Full description
Black & white print is from a photo taken on Dartmoor looking across from a group of old derelict mine buildings. The conditions were great for black & white images with dramatic and detailed clouds and floods of light spreading across the landscape.
Details:
- Signed limited edition giclee print from an original image taken by Alan Thomas
- Print run limited to just 30 prints
- It comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the photographer Alan Thomas
- Printed on Epson Semi Gloss 260gsm paper using inks of archival quality which have an expected life of around 80 years
- The print is not mounted or framed
- Any watermarks shown will not appear on your ordered print
- The picture in the room setting and black frame are for illustrative purposes only
Available in A3 and A2 sizes: A3 prints are sent out flat in acid free paper in a plastic cover in a strong cardboard postal envelope. A2 prints will be similarly protected and sent in a strong cardboard postal tube. Contact me for availability of other sizes and prices.
Once I have received your order I will have the print delivered to me for quality checking before adding my signature, name of the image and the edition number.
