A love of the sea, Scotland’s coasts and islands, and the joys of growing and drying flowers for use in the home has led our family to establish Scents of Arran.
We’re passionate about island living, and sharing the multi-sensory wellbeing benefits of being close to plants and flowers.
Making sure we do this in a sustainable way, choosing recycled, re-usable and eco-friendly supplies, packaging and production methods, is equally important to us. It’s a learning process, and one that we are fully committed to.
We‘re also committed to providing the best customer service, so we promise to reply quickly to your messages and take on board your feedback .

Full description
According to Celtic mythology, the short-flowering lilac had magical powers due to its overpowering fragrance. It is usually found in shades of magenta, pink or purple, and its appearance around Easter time means it is often associated with renewal. A classic lilac flower symbolises first love and romance, however one that is blue or magenta is thought to represent passion, tranquility or happiness.
Using only the best quality, eco-friendly soy wax, our elegant hand-poured pillar candle has a sustainable beeswax-coated hemp wick and is infused with Lilac essential oil. It is available in its original light purple colour and a range of other pastel shades.
