Full description
These brooches are made using recycled scrap stainless steel blanks measuring 55mm x 2mm. I use a mixture of inks and acrylic paints to build up layers of colour and texture. They are sealed with two layers of clear acrylic.
Because of the different mediums used the finish to the face of the brooch is uneven but I think this makes it more interesting. The back has been polished and sealed. Each one is totally unique.
This blank has been coloured in shades of blue and green and I've added a recycled elephant blank which has been coloured with acrylic paint. A lovely gift for an elephant lover.
