Unique, upcycled jewellery created to make you feel good.

Hi I’m Jax, thanks for stopping by. I’ve always loved making things and teaching others, so I've managed to create quite a large collection of different craft supplies over the years. A a few years ago I discovered jewellery making. I also discovered it can be an expensive hobby! So I started to reuse old pieces and to look in charity shops for things I really liked which I could ‘upcycle’ into something I loved. I started making things for family and friends and after a lot of persuading decided to try sharing my designs to a wider audience. I think everyone should be able to buy something unique and affordable. I also think we should be mindful of our footprints.
I live in the far north west corner of beautiful County Durham with the Pennines on my doorstep. I can see two beautiful Maple trees from the window of my craft room and it seemed an appropriate name as I love nature and gardening. I work part time for a charity which works to end violence against individuals. It can be quite stressful so I make and create on my days off. All my jewellery (except earwires) is made from second hand or gifted items. Everything is thoroughly cleaned before I use it but may not be ‘perfect’. I try to be as honest as I can be when describing a piece. All items will be sent in recycled and/or biodegradable packaging.
