Welcome to my online Folksy shop and thank you for popping by.

INTERNATIONAL POST - I'm in the process of updating postage for the US and have temporarily removed it from my listings whilst I recalculate the prices to include the new taxes and handling fees which have to be paid prior to my items entering the US. If you are based in the US and wish to purchase something please send me a message and I will happily send you a quote and add the postage and charges back on to the item.
Due to new regulations sadly I can no longer post to Europe or NI.
If I overcharge on International postage rates I will refund the excess.
Thank you, Debby

Full description

Custom order service for Diane.

Repair and restore 2 x teddy bears as discussed.

Large bear, Head too loose and dirty.

Unpicked his head seam to remove the damaged cotter pin joint, stuffing was grubby so I removed it all to replace with new, decided to unpick all of his body parts and replace all of the filling.

After unpicking I snapped off the plastic safety joints.

Prepared the pieces for washing, brushed loose dirt and surface washed with detergent, some of the dirt was very stubborn to remove using the soap suds only method so eventually I decided to try and wash those pieces in the bowl without allowing the paw pads or the head to be submerged. Left him to air dry.

I found 2 holes to his back so repaired those then stuffed and assembled with plastic joints to his limbs and cotter pin to his head. Gave him a good brush.

Bear 2...just needed a less grumpy face

I wanted to make his nose smaller as it was large for his little face and looked too high but on unpicking I found the muzzle was badly sewn and puckered, also the sewing area looked to have been marked with pen so I had to re embroider to the original site but did manage to make it slightly smaller, gave him a slight smile and he now looks much happier.
