Full description
This beach scene is a piece of textile art created using coloured silk fabric and wool and silk fibres. Strips of silk fabric have been needle felted to a felt base with additional wool and silk fibres added to the surface to blend the colours together and add texture. Using a needle felting process binds the fibres and fabric together without the need for stitching. It also adds texture to the surface of the picture. The picture has been mounted on a standard a piece of 6"x4" card and is supplied with a grey 8" x 6" card mount ready to be framed. It is signed on the reverse.
