Full description
A miniature, collectable piece of textile art of a sunset scene. This ACEO has been created using silk fabric and wool and silk fibres. Strips of coloured silk fabric have been used to create the picture with wool and silk fibres used to blend the colours and add detail and texture. The fabric and fibres have been assembled using a needle felting technique which binds them all together without the need for stitching and adds a lovely texture to the picture surface.
The picture has been mounted on a piece of card cut to the size of an ACEO. It has then been mounted in and ivory coloured card 6" x 4" mount ready for framing in a standard sized frame. The ACEO can easily be removed from the mount for presentation in an album if required.
The picture is signed on the reverse.
