Through the Pass Door: Alda’s Time Step

Written by Ada Rose Leighton

A middle grade (8 – 12 years) paperback book.

“Alda loves dancing, but not in front of anyone else. Her mum, who used to be a dance teacher, teaches her at home, as Alda refuses to go to a dance school, where people will look at her. When Alda starts secondary school she meets Kori, who also loves to dance; only he isn’t at all shy about performing. Kori persuades Alda to audition at ‘The Sunrise Theatre’ to be one of the ‘Little Rays of Sunshine’ in their summer show. It’s a day that will change the whole course of Alda’s life.”
