I'm a huge nature lover and feathers work so well with cyanotype. Not only that but they are free! I love to collect interesting feathers when out walking and actually have a pot on my desk with them in, then I use the wonderful summer sunlight to capture their beauty. Cyanotype is a Victorian process and they were very interested in the natural world at the time, so it's lovely to use this medium with such things as feathers. The tiny details are captured so beautifully and really make the print come to life.

This is an original cyanotype of a feather.
The image is mounted and backed in cream mountboard.
Printed on to a high quality 300gsm watercolour paper, this work is original and unique and the photos you see are of the actual item you will receive.
Image is approximately 6x4 inches, overall size including mount is 8x6 inches.
The mounted print will be sent in an acetate sleeve for protection and card backed envelope via Royal Mail 1st Class
