These landscapes are very satisfying to stitch. Themes are repeated, but no two are ever exactly the same. Similar designs also feature on felt bookmarks listed in this shop.

Full description
A pretty spring landscape featuring a sea of daffodils, surrounding a tree covered in catkins. Trees on the horizon and a little white washed cottage add further interest.
Scraps of felt, many of them commercial offcuts, have been appliqued to a background of thick wadding. Details of the design have been added in simple hand embroidery using threads (some of which are vintage), vintage 3 ply wool, tapestry wool and silk ribbons
The plaque is edged in blanket stitch using threads to tone with the colours used in the background of the plaque.
The back of the plaque is neatened with commercial felt and a hanging loop, of button-hole stitch in cotton, is securely stitched in place.
Height (excluding hanging loop) - 12 cm approx.
First Class postage is included free of charge.
Please note this plaque may not be washed. Easel not included.
