These landscapes are very satisfying to stitch. Themes are repeated, but no two are ever exactly the same. Similar designs also feature on felt bookmarks listed in this shop.

Full description
A winter scene with two tiny robins snuggled together on a snowy fence - felted and hand stitched.
The background has been needle felted using hand dyed wool fibres on a background of commercial felt. Added texture has been created by hand stitching. Details of the design have been stitched in threads and fine wools, some of them vintage. A length of hand made cord, made from wools and threads to match the design, has been stitched in place to frame the scene.
I have done my best to photograph this item accurately but monitor settings may cause variation in colour.
The back of the plaque is neatened with thick white 'felt' - a commercial remnant; and a hanging loop, of hand made hemp cord, is securely stitched in place.
Height (excluding hanging loop) - 17.5 cm approx.
Please note: this plaque may not be washed; the easel and decorations are not included - a similar Christmas tree is listed separately in my Folksy shop.
