These beautiful lamps are a stunning piece of pottery in their own right.
The bonus is that they are also oil lamps!
They are made with stoneware clay. Which I use for functional pottery as it’s a more resilient/harder clay.
They are wheel thrown and then altered to accommodate the wick.
Using olive oil is a cheaper alternative to lamp oil. It also has the added benefit of not producing as much smoke. Beneficial to those who find candles too much.
The wick is an oil lamp cotton wick and approximately 20cm long.
Height - approximately 4cm
Width at widest point - approximately 9.7cm

Do not leave lamps unattended. Ensure oil is refilled before each use.
