Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
I have designed this especially for the forthcoming coronation of our King, Charles lll but it will make a lovely suncatcher at any time.
A crown made from pure gold with a white ermine border decorated with enormous diamonds and on the 5 tips, precious jewels, rubies, sapphires and opal.
OK I have to admit, not pure gold but gorgeous textured gold glass. Not ermine but steaky white glass. Of course the diamonds are crystals and the precious jewels, glass nuggets fused in my kiln and decorated with dichroic glass.
The suncatcher is 13cm x 9.5cm and hangs from a little silvery chain which is securely attached to the top at either side.
This will make a wonderful present for someone or just for yourself as it is very special and absolutely unique.
I never make two pieces exactly the same. Even from the same pattern I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.
