“The Sitting West Highland Terrier sculpture was modelled on Mactavish. The client and I chose a sitting position as we wanted all the attention on the sculpture to be on Mactavish’s face.
The client asked for him to be a little shaggier (less blow-dried) to show a natural look, with care over the hair above his eyes and an attentive expression. Westies have such classic poise and shape and I really enjoyed the opportunity to sculpt Mactavish, so he’ll look at home wherever he is.”
