Thank you for visiting Looney Spoons! I've got spoons for all occasions and budgets, and since I hand stamp each and every letter myself - if you don't see exactly what you want, just ask me to stamp it for you. Personalisation makes a gift extra-special.
My prices haven't increased since 2021 and will remain fixed until the end of the year. I haven't increased my postage in line with the latest price hike either; it will remain fixed until the end of the year too. I always combine the postage no matter how many spoons you purchase... AND there are lots of bargains in the Bargain Bin already, with plenty more to come. I would like everyone in the UK to find a spoon in their stocking on Christmas morning!
Please note I'll be shutting the shop for my Christmas break on FRIDAY 13 DECEMBER - well before Royal Mail's last posting dates - so don't leave it too late to order your festive spoons. I'll be reopening on Monday 6 January.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
I don't often do political commentary but having been told to 'cherish turnips' got right up my nose and came out in spoon form. So here is a spoon for doling out those cherished helpings of turnip, specially grown in the sunlit uplands...
PLEASE NOTE this is NOT really a serving spoon - it has the shape and proportions of a full-sized tablespoon but in reality it's a tiny (9.3cm) antique 'fiddle pattern' silver-plated spoon, rather battered and worn, to which I've added the hand stamped wording 'turnip serving spoon' in tiny wobbly 1mm lower-case sans serif lettering.
In the bargain bin for a fiver in case it amuses someone else as much as it amused me. If you would like me to send it direct to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs I am very happy to arrange that...
I have lots more spoons of all shapes and sizes so if you would like something else stamped on a spoon, not necessarily in tiny wobbly lettering, drop me a message and I'll see whether I can make it happen!
