I began making miniature coastal scenes following a beachcombing trip to Morfa Beach in Conwy, north Wales. I was inspired by the colourful coastal cottages and the UK's smallest house that you can visit there. I also found an abundance of lovely chunky sea glass and pottery on the beach which I used in my early pieces, I have really enjoyed making them ever since that visit. This is the first time I've made a Christmas inspired piece and I'm just a little bit in love with this!

Add a coastal charm to your space with this delightful driftwood and sea glass miniature Christmas cottage! Crafted from reclaimed materials, this whimsical decoration makes a perfect festive addition to your seasonal decor this Christmas. Bring a breezy beach vibe to your decor with this one-of-a-kind piece of beach inspired art.
The little house is nestled on a beautifu piece of driftwood with sea glass underneath depicting the ocean. The whole piece has been created by hand, carving the little cottage from reclaimed pallett wood, before hand painting it and setting it onto a backing frame that has itself been hand painted in soft pastel blues. Extra embellishments in the form of cork, shells and tiny little log slices have been added to the miniature design to finish it off and provide extra festive details.

- This is a one-off piece and beautifully unique, you will receive it exactly as shown in the photographs. The portrait piece measures 12cm wide x 10cm tall. There is a hook on the reverse for wall hanging.
