Hello and welcome to my shop.
My background is in Graphic Design and although I'm now retired I still enjoy the creative process. A lot of my work features birds and flowers and I particularly love combining different materials and patterns to create colourful, one-of-a-kind mixed media pieces.

This quirky mixed media artwork would add a pop of colour to your home or make a unique gift for any occasion.
These quirky group of items are housed in a sturdy, freestanding wooden compartment box. I've used a palette of blues and greens and added layers of paint and decorative papers to create a boho feel.
The display includes items from across the globe: a Greek Mykonos turtle, carved bone fish beads from Nepal, a carved painted bird from India, Pressed glass beads from the Czech Republic, a small Buddha amulet from Thailand, bone beads from Africa and a metal monkey on a horse from China. In feng shui the monkey symbolizes intelligence, creativity, and resourcefulness and the horse symbolizes success, achievement and perseverance. I've also made a couple of clay tiles and used beads and jewellery findings.
The overall size is approx. 24cm wide x 33cm high and 4.5cm deep.
