he word 'Jasper' comes from the Greek 'Jaspi' meaning spotted stone.
With Leopardskin Jasper, sometimes called Jaguar stone, these spots resemble the markings on the coats of big cats.
Leopardskin Jasper was particularly prized by shamans, who believed it helped them connect with their spirit animal, and provided protection and courage when travelling in the spirit world.
It is still thought that the stone can provide courage and strength to the wearer.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
This eye-catching necklace features a trio of beautifully patterned, 13x18mm Leopardskin Jasper ovals, separated by 3mm copper rounds and set between 6mm Leopardskin Jasper beads.
The necklace graduates to 4mm Leopardskin Jasper, and fastens with a simple copper clasp.
More copper beads add a subtle gleam to the piece.
The Jasper beads are a wide variety of muted earth tones - brown, red, pink, grey, orange and cream - speckled with the distinctive spots and swirls that give the stone its name.
The large, oval stones can be turned to show the different patterns on the other side - the last photo shows the reverse side of these beads.
This necklace measures approximately 17 inches (43cm).
Your necklace will be wrapped in tissue and presented in a pretty organza gift bag.
Price includes delivery within the UK.
