Each month last year I have made a print inspired by flowers and plants I saw around me - a great way to take notice of the changing seasons. I am continuing with a print for each month but this year I am finding inspiration in birds. During the winter months starlings gather in large numbers and swoop and dive in unison as they gather over their roosting site. Otmoor in Oxfordshire is a large RSPB managed wetland / marshland where starlings roost in the reed beds. During the winter months the starling murmerations are a magical sight to witness.
