Full description
Giraffes are the tallest mammals on earth and can run as fast as 35 miles per hour. My giraffe is hand painted and the assembled using the copper foil technique. The glass is painted before firing in the kiln. this can take several firings to get the desired effect. The pieces are the ground to smooth the edges, copper foil added and the soldered together.
The giraffe is made with cream and shades of green glass. Brown and black glass paint. It has two rings and invisible thread to hang it with.
The giraffe is 17cm diameter in size.
