I have closed my shop for a while as we are spending more time travelling in our campervan and I have less time for crafting.
Thank you to everyone who has purchased cards from me - I hope to reopen my shop next year.
A friend gave me this lovely floral kit that she had purchased on the Isle of Man. The fuchsia is not a native flower to the island (it's originally from Chile) and is thought to have been taken to the island by ships connected with the nitrate trade. In the 1820s it was first grown outdoors in the garden of Miss Christian of Ballure Cottage, Ramsay and has thrived on the island ever since.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
This blank card measures approximately 6" x 6" and is made from cream hammer card.
The cross stitch 'Manx Fuchsia' is a design from The Textile Heritage Collection. The fuchsia flowers have been stitched in dark red and purple threads. The flowers and green leaves have been outlined in a dark red thread. The stamens have been stitched in bright red thread with purple french knots at the end of each stamen. The cross stitch has been mounted behind a stitched square aperture and a piece of the same card has been attached to the inside of the card to cover the stitching.
The back of the card is stamped 'Handmade by Kath'.
A plain white paper insert has been left blank for your own personal message. There is also a plain cream envelope.
The card will be sent in a biodegradable cello bag and a card backed envelope to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. I will post second class within one working day of receiving payment - please contact me for a price if you would like first class postage.
