I love combining decoupage with paint, and I’ve really enjoyed up-cycling these pretty little trinket drawers to make them truly unique. I’ve used rice paper, with a floral theme for the decoupage, and a mineral based paint with crackle glaze to create a textured, aged paint effect, before adding silver foil leaf. The design has been finished off with a clear top coat which gives a subtle sheen. I’ve lined the bottom of the drawers with felt and also covered the base with felt.
These drawers measure approximately 15cm high x 9cm deep x 13cm at the widest point. The pullout drawers measure approximately 8cm x 7cm x 5.5cm.
