Pre-loved, recycled and with an edgy styling, this denim shoulder tote bag has been carefully handmade from a faded grey denim pair jeans. Large, roomy and slouchy, it's big enough for all your everyday essentials and more!
It’s been lined with a maroon red shot taffeta. The shoulder strap has been designed to incorporate the fabric of the bag and has a short section of black cotton webbing which sits comfortably on the shoulder. The webbing has been repurposed from a belt.
On the front of the bag the pockets from the jeans are fully usable - inside are a number of slip pockets for phone, pens etc, Pne of the pockets has a plastic snap closure. For those of us who lose our keys in the bottom of our bag, there's a silver coloured swivel lobster clasp secured to the inside of the bag with a grosgrain ribbon. A button flap closure secures the opening of the bag and has been made from part of the original jeans.
The bag is slouchy to wear but has been carefully constructed to be sturdy enough for everyday use and would pack flat for travelling. The base of the bag has been given a soft structured feel by the addition of an internal bag base made using layers PVC coated cotton - this is unseen but adds to the quality feel of the bag.
