Large geometric patterned 'dad' mug in simply clay. Handmade Stoneware Pottery by littlewrenpottery on Folksy.
This mug is 3.5 inches (9 cm) in diameter and 4.9 inches (13 cm) in height.
Sometimes it's hard to know what to buy for Dads! At 550ml this is a larger capacity mug to hopefully bring a few peaceful moments to a busy day.
I created this mug by hand throwing it on my wheel from durable British stoneware clay. The mug itself features a funnel shape good for keeping tea hot for when your out in the garden and just a little bit forgetful with your brew.
Each mug was carved with 'dad' on the front and has been slip trailed by hand with a geometric pattern all the way around the mug. The patterns are from Japanese textiles; the Shippo-Tsunagi or seven treasures pattern and the Hishi-sayagata brocade pattern.
The mug is glazed in a glossy transparent glaze so the colours of the slip shine through. The Little Wren Pottery stamp is printed on the bottom of this mug marking it out as a unique handmade item.
This mug can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
